Deus Machina Demonbane, Liber Legis

The Shining Trapezohedron refers to both the polyhedron that holds the Court of Azathoth and the double-bladed sword that contains the polyhedron at its core.

The Shining Trapezohedron is an artifact constructed and hallowed by the Elder Gods. Within the Shining Trapezohedron lies the Court of Azathoth, which was imprisoned inside of it by the Elder Gods.  At a later point, Nyarlathtep had acquired two Shining Trapezohedrons after spending a thousand eternities searching for them.

The Shining Trapezohedron is a black polyhedron held in place by seven supports. It has many irregular flat surfaces with red striations running across it. The polyhedron is often contained in the center of a sword with two twisted and dull blades. Once the two Trapezohedrons have merged, the blade grows in size, enough to tower over Demonbane, and gains a golden glow.

The Shining Trapezohedron is an immensely powerful weapon to the point that the wielder's own life is at risk simply from holding it. When contact with the blade is made, the Shining Trapezohedron releases all of its stored divine power onto the target. The energy manifests as light and darkness that merge into a mass that tears open a large fissure in the empty space. The target is then pulled into the fissure by countless hands of light and dark and the fissure closes. According to Nyarlathtep everything that gets swallowed by the fissure ends up in the Original Universe, where the Outer Gods reign.

Whatever is sliced by the blade is indefinitely taken to the void and any regenerative effects or otherwise are nullified by the blade. Furthermore, the Shining Trapezohedron also creates a barrier that disintegrates anything that would attempt to attack the wielder.

When two Shining Trapezohedrons clash, billions of worlds are created and destroyed in between the blades. Should the two Trapezohedrons collide for too long, the polyhedron will break and release the Court of Azathoth.

In their combined state, a single slash from the Shining Trapezohedron releases a gentle yet powerful and violent light that is accompanied by a magic field created from the Elder Sign.  This light has the power to completely rewrite Nyarlathotep's Klein Bottle as well as banish the deity from the world.

The Shining Trapezohedron has an odd-effect on Demonbane as Demonbane initially summons it on its own, seemingly prepared to execute some predestined task. Whether this was Demonbane acting on its own or an outside force controlling Demonbane is unclear.

Between Demonbane and Liber Legis, the Shining Trapezohedron is summoned slightly differently. When Demonbane summons it, it uses the power of the Lemuria Impact to manifest a black hole that distorts space and rips through a dimensional wall, reaches in, and grabs the object that was spawned inside of the rip and pulls it out. Liber Legis, on the other hand, summons the Shining Trapezohedron through a black hole generated through its Heart of Infinity.
